Dropped into Wheelers Hill Charcoal Chicken and was really impressed. The staff were super friendly and made me feel welcome as soon as I walked in. I grabbed a souvlaki and honestly, it was one of the best I’ve had. The meat was a little salty, but they were upfront and let me know it can happen early in the day, which I appreciated. The chips looked and tasted amazing too — crispy, fresh, and full of flavour. Great food, great people. Keep it up!

Top notch charcoal chicken. Crispy delicious skin perfectly cooked chicken and delicious old school stuffing. Loved the chicken souvlaki aswell which is cooked over charcoal so you get some nice charred bits.

Some of the best chips i've tasted in Melbourne. massive servings, great value for money too! and the staff are great, personable and helpful. definitely a place i will be returning to several times!!

First time trying and I can see why these guys are so busy!! Great charcoal lamb and chicken meat. Loved the souvlaki and great size for $16.90 the chips were SO GOOOOOD!!! cooked perfectly and crazy addictive! The staff were very good too; very efficient and smashing out orders I loved that they knew so many customers by name too. Gives the hustling takeaway shop a nice vibe. Would 100% come back!

Melbourne. Lovely charred chicken, with a burnt flavor although the stuffing could be milder, or an option without it would be better still. The fresh and crispy salad was perfect for the meal.

Wonderful family run chicken shop! I came here to grab a quick dinner, left with a lovely experience and that is even before I tried their chicken. We got offered some of their freshly cooked yeeros whilst we were waiting for our meal - genuinely was so good that we ended up getting a souvlaki as well as the meal we always ordered. The person that served us was very kind and was lovely to converse with, very friendly! Definitely will be returning again!
